Support Suchma Elementary’s New Empowering Program, Girls on the Run

Suchma Elementary is now participating in Girls on the Run, a non-profit after school program that promotes self-development and a healthy lifestyle! Girls on the Run is a ten to twelve-week program for girls in the third to sixth grade that ends with a celebratory 5k. This program aims to “address all aspects of the girls’ development to enhance their physical, emotional, mental, social, and spiritual well-bring while establishing a lifetime appreciation of health and fitness.” Harper’s Preserve is excited for Suchma Elementary’s students to participate in such an encouraging program.

One way the public can help support Girls on the Run is by attending the Sneaker Soiree, an annual fundraiser that benefits Girls on the Run. There will be a live and silent auction, dancing and “opportunities to learn about Girls on the Run’s mission through an inspiring program.” Guests can enjoy appetizers, a dinner buffet, dessert, and a full bar at the Westin Memorial City on Thursday, April 9, 2020 from 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.
